Kurtis and Thomas

With all of these sweet treats invading our kitchen, Kurtis and I have been trying our best to spend more evenings cooking dinners at home.  This past year I received all three of Thomas Keller's cookbooks (Bouchon, Ad Hoc, & French Laundry) as gifts.  Although these cookbooks are simply beautiful, we decided that we did not want them to remain coffee table books.  Kurtis insisted that if I was going to be the Pastry Chef of the house, he was going to be the Chef.    I have been impressed with some of the interesting facts that he has been digging up and incorporating into our meals.  Honestly, I don't think we have eaten this good in years.

Kurtis is going to share his adventures on some of the savory dishes we've whipped up together from a variety of our cookbooks and our mammoth stack of food magazines.  In addition to learning some new cooking tidbits, you all will get to know my favorite person in the whole wide world.  So move over Julie & Julia...the blogging world now has Kurtis & Thomas.
